I didn't see any buildings from India in the list. India has so much fine architecture beyond the Taj Mahal.

The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, is the only hotel with direct, uninterrupted views of the Taj Mahal. The hotel lies just 600 metres from what is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. The Oberoi Armavilas opened in January 2001 and is breathtakingly luxurious hotel. The challenge for Bombay-based architect Prabhat Patki was to create a haven that would reflect the exotic grandeur of the monuments around them. The aim was to provide guests with every modern service in luxury and comfort, while adhering to strict planning laws.

The Oberoi Amarvilas(Sanskrit for ‘Eternal Haven’)- is set among lush and serene Mughal-inspired pools and terraced gardens. Ancient and traditional Persian and Moorish influences combine with the very best in modern Indian interior design.

Ever since its opening it has consistently been rated amongst the world's best hotels.

Looks like a very luxurious place. Definitely doesn't disspoint and the architecture is very much something that you'd expect to find in India. Great views of the Taj Mahal as well. The only thing that takes away from it's score is the concrete look from the outside. 7.5/10
