I check some website about Northeast San Fernando Valley. They said this area is considered into high crime area and ghetto. I don't believe them because I thought, Northeast San Fernando Valley is nice city with less crime rate than South L.A.

Hi,

I'm a Brit staying just off Roscoe in Northridge and maybe I'm naiive, but there doesn't appear to be much apparent wanton crime in the area. Obviously there are things going on like mugging etc, but in the UK there are signs almost everywhere urban, to tell you that you're in a bad area. Busstops all smashed up and graffitti everywhere and shopfronts boarded up at night. Or is the whole Valley area ok?

I use to live in Northridge and the local always talked negative about Pacoima. I don't even know if I spelled it right. Isn't that place in the ne corner of the valley?

Yeah. I agree with someone said that, Pacoima was unsafe area and high crime area. Not all Northeast Valley was unsafe and high crime area.

You can list city in Northeast Valley that area was nice and safe.
