[Jakob]

Macka Palas was built in 1922 by the Italian architect Giulio Mongeri who was inspired of Milano's palaces. Famous people like the poet Roni Margulies, the Russian aristrocat Colonel Gorodetzki who fled the 1917 revolution, the poet Abdülhak Hamid, the Turkish president Celal Bayar and Kerime Nadir have all lived in this building.
Nowadays, Macka Palas hosts the Istanbul stores of Gucci, Armani and Armani Café in the middle of the elegant and chic Macka ditrict.
