Indy's 'Hoods (Part Two)

I took these today. The first pics are of Fall Creek Place, which used to be one of the worst neighborhoods in the City 5 years ago. There were more vacant lots than there were houses and the crime rate was the City's highest. Now, millions of $$ later, it is a vibrant neighborhood with a mix of incomes. One of the federal requirements was that 75% of the new buyers had to be a "first time buyer."

The next set are of the Near North Neighborhood, which includes (north of Fall Creek) Meridian, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Delaware Streets.

Nice pics, the Near North Gateway must have been much more dense before the 70's and 80's.

Hopefully the Near North will become revived like Fall Creek, it's a nice neighborhood, but has tons of potential.

The Pyramids are located on the northwest side of the city, in an office park area which I believe is called College Park. It's very close to the intersection of 86th Street and Michigan Road, which is easily accessible from I-465. Look for the exit for Michigan Road, and you should be able to see the buildings and guess which roads to take to get back to them (they're not too far off of Michigan if I remember correctly).
