At a recent meeting, the Belgrade city government president Nenad Bogdanovic and EBRD vice-president Olivier Deschamps announced that the EBRD would provide financing for the construction of a bridge across the river Sava at Ada Ciganlija. The committee for EBRD operations has approved funds in the amount of 50 million euros.

It's good how the Ada Ciganlija bridge will have the tram lines on it.

The new metro trains are going to be Desiros trains? Hungarian built aren't they?

not Hungarian. Hungarians use them but thats Siemens made. Siemens Desiro. They will be used in Beovoz (current "subway"). Not sure about Belart(LRT).

That would be the tallest structure in Belgrade, excellent. Exactly 2 metres taller than Avala Tower.

Great design of new bridge! How much will construction cost?

BTW, how many Siemens Desiros Belgrade plan to buy? Are those trains diesel or electro units? I am confused!
