A thread to find out how many "green" bridges there are in the world. I also don't mean by the actual colour green, but the bridge actually carrying a park over a road/railway, etc which has growing plants, trees, etc

Example: Mile End Park, London, UK

Are there any more examples from around the world?

In Brisbane we do have those. There are some good examples on our ICB (inner city bypass) motorway that went though the middle of Victoria park. The put in big bridges with trees and grass on them - nice!

In the outer suburbs and in rural areas they cover motorways in places with wildlife bridges that have natural bushland to prevent injury to native wildlife.

Most of the pedestrian bridges across roads in Singapore come equipped with planters on both sides of the bridge, for growing shrubs.

Not quite the same, but along similar lines, an old Railway Viaduct in Paris was turned into an elevated park - the Promenade Plantée

Brisbane is also building a different type of Green Bridge. Connecting the University of Queensland at St. Lucia and Dutton Park, the bridge across the Brisbane River will only carry buses, pedestrians and cyclists.

I've seens many "green bridges" over French highways.
Back in 1993 was taking my first hitch-hiking tour around Europe - decided to take a walk in a forest in Alsace. Heard weird noise and walked a bit to the side - oho... I was still in the forest... but above the highway
