That last one is the best shot of the skyline I've seen in a really long time, if not ever. You can actually see the majority of it...great job

thank you very much Eastsider :)

I tried to get all the buildings from the lakefront in one shot...its not easy in most spots!

I actually went on the ice and climbed a breakwall to get up to the marina docks--which were previously off limits to get some shots off :)

In the first one...I like how massive Kilbourn Tower looks. Too bad alot of the pics where...uncrisp due to the coldness.

people always say Milwaukee has a weak skyline...but they dont ever see these string of high rise condos...that look enourmous when you walk or drive by. Probally because they are on a bluff.

Man, the UV Club and Kilborne towers are going to add a lot to the skyline, not to mention the second US Bank tower. It's going to totally change the skyline. And with the downtown boom, you gotta expect more high rise condos to come.

oh yeah...its going to look great at the lake..when UC, Kilbourn and hopefully that new one get done. Chicago style!

Why do the buildings on the right look so much bigger than the US Bank tower? I assume they must be closer?

i like those pictures. i have never had the chance to walk out on the great lakes when they are frozen over (grandparents in buffalo), and it must be really interesting to do that. it would take much longer to swim out there in the summer, and then would be hard to get a nice still picture while treading water and absorbing the roll of the waves. how far out from the shore were you?

I really wish Milwaukee would get some taller buildings. If it had a larger Metro area, like Minneapolis does, it probably would. Minnesota's population is extremely centralized, while Wisconsin's is more spread out. I would like a 700-footer or two in Milwaukee, though.

Sorry, Redd. You were being ridiculously modest. Those were great pix!

I want them to renovate underutilized space, and fill in vacant parking lots. Then we can worry about 700 foot towers.

^^new urbanism, for sure.

Redd, these are tight. I like the way you managed to capture the string of high-rises from downtown all the way down Prospect Ave--not easy to do, indeed. Nice.

Nice pics of Milwaukee. I heard the city is getting many new highrise housing units. Is this true?? :)
