I found this on the net and I thought it was interesting to share with those people like me that always wondered what types of bridges are there,and their respective names.Unfortunately some types are lacking,such as the Cantilever ones...

I think trusses are so ugly.Unless they are done like the Harbour Bridge ....

maybe supension because the cable cross all the bridge!!

I think trusses are so ugly.Unless they are done like the Harbour Bridge ....

Looks like a cable-stayed bridge to me, with the cables attached directly to the road platform.

Actualy those are not cables, more like beams.
So that's what puzzles me...

You forgot cable-stayed bridges, like Öresundsbridge (Copenhagen-Malmö bridge).

Supspension bridges are fine, steel arch ones are candy for eyes too.
