Cheers Eddy, the UK has some spectacular bridges and some of the longest in the world with more projects in the pipeline. The proposed Morecambe Bay Bridge will be over 12 miles long :)

Don't forget this one, the Runcorn Widnes road bridge over the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal, with the earlier rail bridge in the background.

Not the tallest motorway bridge anymore - Miliua(sp?) Viaduct ;).

Anyway, the UK has a great selection of bridges :). But where's Tower Bridge? :dunno:

MILLAU viaduct. :)

BTW, the first and longuest bridge of this list (Severn Crossing Road Bridge) was designed and built by French companies (structural design: SEEE-INGEROP, construction: GTM construction / Freyssinet, companies of VINCI group, the #1 constuction company in the world)! :)

Thanks for the pics, nice bridges!

Thats was a mistake made by me,

Its actually the longest single span motorway bridge....It goes OVER a motorway...and is just a 2 lane road bridge.

Near Sheffield somewhere.
