Ancient Mosque of Nain | Iran

It is said that this building was originally a Sassanid fire temple which was converted to a mosque in the early Islamic period, in the 10th century a large minaret was also added to this building, the ancient mosque of Nain is renown among Islamic buildings for the extensive and masterful carved stucco decoration.
