I'm glad that the construction of these two towers got delayed for a few years so they could polish the original design (which was not as good as what you see today) into something more sleek and modern. I like the towers' semi-transparent grayish blue glass that give them substance, and the innovative cut tubes at the top definitely kick butt.

A nice addition to Shanghai's ever growing army of skyscrapers, the top is interesting.

Well the boxy twin towers are not great, with ugly technical levels, but the cylinder thingies at the top are really nice and those vertical lines running on the side are a welcome addition to the design.
Podium is plain and seen dozens times already.

They definitely belong to my favorite new Shanghai skyscrapers. A nice reflective facade, a design that fits for twins and they totally dominate the skyline in the Xujiahui area.

Absurd design for the top. Incomprehensible choice of shapes and forms for the building proper. And they built two of them! Even with great towers, building two next to each other would be a bad idea.

I get a chance to look at these twin towers from my grandmother's balcony everytime i'm in shanghai. I think these two skyscrapers are some of the better one's that shanghai has to offer. It's a simple yet elegant design that doesn't look at all tacky and it doesn't have that "cheap" look that some skyscrapers are notorious for.

these towers look alright, what Im really worried about is shanghais non descript skyline. they are nice, but they stand out awkwardly among miles of cookie-cutter residentials.

Good lord, I guess I don't see this. There's no way these deserve nines or tens. The cylinders on the top take away from a decent tower, but these things don't even flow into the base, which is pretty ugly.
