I was considering the LA triathlon this upcoming year, but some unfortunate injuries will keep me from being able to do the run. The Emo fad is nothing new, it's been around since the mid 80's and popularized by the group Tears of Fears. But the pseudo punk/ska listening wannabees that it has mutated into these days is outright P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C!!!! Emo kids whine and cry at the silliest things. They are a clique-ish bunch, constantly complaining how the world hates them when they themselves are responsible for alienating and ostracizing themselves from the rest of human-kind. Okay, maybe I'm over-generalizing here and I'm sure not all Emo types are as bad as I claim. But from the ones I've observed it's quite consistent across the board, definitely an interesting sub-culture and its not limited to the youth movement and Generation You-Tube.

The most pathetic thing I observed regarding this eccentric, Emo subculture was at a mall. This Emo dude started tearing up and getting all emotional with the sales clerk at Hot Topic (The poor girl didn't know what she signed up for when she applied for the job), upon finding out they didn't carry his favorite nail polish. I think it was called Black Rose of Death or something along that line. Hahaha If you're wondering why I was there? Don't ask me why I was at Hot Topic, I normally don't shop there. My younger sister's boyfriend's bestfriend is into all that Emo crap..Anyway, long story..LoL..Another time it was more of a shock then anything else. Living in LA and having traveled to such citites like London, New York, Tokyo, you think you've seen all the freaks there is right? No wayyy Jose!!! Went to House of Blues with my girl and her gal pals and saw this 60-ish, middle-aged man with a platinum blond 20-ish chick sporting GINORMOUS hooters, gazoongas, canons, whatever you wanna call it..in a tiny model-esque physique clinging to the arm of this man that looked kinda like a wrinkly Shaggy from the Scooby Doo cartoons sporting the aforementioned Emo comb over hairstyle, and you know what's worst than seeing an old dude with a young chick? Nothing wrong with that right? Not at all, especially in LA! But this dude's face was wrinkly and caked with make-up so thick if you stuck candles onto his face you'd think he was a freakin' birthday cake. Seriously the dude got issues I mean if you're a senior citizen and into the whole Emo fad? LOL It kinda crosses your mind, like what the fudge was he thinkin'??? Oh yeah he did drive a souped up, red Saleen Mustang with Ninja style spoilers. Hmmm...put 2 & 2 together? The guy's got Mid-life crisis? HAHAHa..I dunno that's my conclusion and I'm sticking to it. Either that or all that Viagara is getting to his head? Oopps no pun intended...:lol:

I think what you are seeing is the blotches of paint splashed on the wall. I actually hate that design. It was already like this when I bought the condo 7 years ago. I was told my unit was the model when they built the building and they had an interior decorator dress it up. You should have seen one of the bedrooms. I painted over that before I moved my funiture in. I know its a long time, but soon I plan on painting over the bathroom.

I believe Monster Massive is on October 27th. How do I know? I've been going every year for the last 6 years. Always one of the biggest, baddest pre-Halloween raves West of the Mississippi. Expect 30,000 + party freaks in costumes. TAO (Together As One) is always on New Year's Eve.
