well depending on what you want to hear you can sample from two differing reports, made by the same consulting firm.
inspired by the kcrw podcast. i went to the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporations website to read there economic outlook report for 2007-2008. and within the first page i noticed a difference between it, and the otis collage fueled report done by the same agency.
otis report states that the biggest economic engine in los angeles is the arts.
fashion movies furniture architecture.
while the regular report states "old reliables leading the way, international trade, business services and tourism."
studies are fun.
