Good quality fixtures and fittings and a well trained and highly committed workforce will ensure the highest standards of finish and every house will be subjected to a verification and quality audit ahead of its release for occupation. The detail specification of your house is an individual decision, which may be influenced by available funds, the age of the family, specific taste and a host of other factors. Superior Homes (Kenya) Limited recognises that every buyer is unique and we have developed a simple voucher system so that you can specify exactly what you want, without any waste of money.

Once the buying decision is taken and agreements are finalised buyers will be provided with a voucher to pay for the wardrobes and the kitchen fittings of their house. Yes that is the perfect ideal, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes that is just not possible, which I'm surprised you are unaware of. You can decrease crime, but you cannot really prevent crime from happening on a lot of accounts, especially in a developing nation where there are many poor individuals. The fact is, Kenya is a developing nation with many poor individuals, one cannot assume the poor will not raid the "rich people's" homes in times of disparity. Now, when the country channels the poor, and increase a middle class, gated communities are not as needed except for the rich who feel they are safer within the community(a lot of which is psychological); but nonetheless, they have the money and means to do so. Increasing the prosperity of the people and country is difficult, and I find it amazing that you do not see projects like this as an improvement of society. In economics one most remember it has always been the Middle Class that helped countries develop the most; these homes are for that Middle Class, but you have to start somewhere, and at this present point in time, the countries' Middle Class is not developed enough to ensure a good amount of safety for these homes, plain and simple. You can talk to me about " A serious problem..." and all that social "idealism," but you have to face the facts, a country has to start somewhere with a Middle Class, and then the government will intern have the means to do many of the services us Westerners severely take for granted.

There are a few in Canada, but generally they are extremely rare here. We don't have the same crime problems as they do in the US, even the richest people in Toronto live on public streets.
