Its holidays! Let's go to the states! | Discussion

As you all know,
all or most of your friends may be going down to the states during holidays,
and including this holidays as well.
not to mention, im going to the states this weekend as well! haha
but why dont canadians stay in canada and spend holidays instead?
well.. guess what!
holidays, stores close!
except tim hortons =] haha
i still dont understand why,
when people have day offs,
and stores clothes
then what do we do?
we will bore to death X.X

I have only been to the states only once, and that was to Point Roberts, apparently illegally...
So definitely not.

Well it's usually the reverse when the States have a holiday and we don't. Lots of Americans come up here to visit.

Anyways the movie theatres and other entertainment businesses are still open nowadays on holidays.

I will not be going to the states for the holiday , but will be in May for 10 days ( Texas on buisness ) .

My mom left for Hawaii via LA a few hours ago. I wish I was going with her. It sucks though 'cause my dad was willing to send me (pay for my flight, accomodations, etc.), but I have friggin exams this up coming week :cry: On top of that, if you guys knew what the weather's been like here in s.ontario...

Looking on the bright side, I can't wait 'till Florida a couple weeks from now :D
