The multi-tower development by El-Ad formerly known as "Parkway Forest" or whatever is about to start sales. This should definitely add more density and ridership along the Sheppard subway line.
And about the condo name, it's not the worse reference to a US city, that title would go to "San Francisco by The Bay" in Pickering...talk about cheeze.

Ad in the Dream Homes magazine state that it will have direct access to the Sheppard subway line and I'm pretty sure I remember ELAD being the developer who first proposed the development which originally planned for towers as tall as 50 storey but were eventually scaled down.

Not another cookie cutter non-design. What a snore.

It's not bad.... a little more esthetically pleasing than the Success tower and some of the other glassy boxes south of the tracks. It looks much better than the older residential towers in the neighbourhood.

Agreed.
It looks 100 million times better than all the boxes in that area. This one will stick out like a sore thumb, but in a good way. It's so much better than what's currently on that plot of land now.

Everytime I hear the name of this condo, I think of Oz. Not the end of the yellow brick road, but the award winning cable tv series about a state penitentiary...

No offense to Seattle, great world class city in its own regard, but can we please stop naming every building after every damn city in the world?
