The former 12 storey development has now been been cut short to 9 storeys, hopefully this time around this development will be successful. It also appears they are no longer using red brick.

Depends what the material and the texture is. Sometimes it can be nice not
having everything a glass curtain wall, but if it is just concrete then it will probably be ugly on the sides.

Reminds me a lot of the condos on South side of King St just east of Sherbourne (across from Kings Court) beside the condo called East...

It's very simple, cute infill, but damn, do I miss the cutesy red brick older design of this building. :(
