UGLY UGLY building!

Not to mention that new parking lot they built makes the parkette at McCaul/Orde feel like some outgrowth of it. :puke:

Let's not forget that this is across from an elementary school. The area has to be more residential in character. Yes, it's also next to the hospital, but it didn't have to go here, or even be this abhorrent looking. I'd much prefer a residential building framing the parkette than this monstrosity. This could've been built on the parking lot next to that big parking garage on Murray St instead.

Personally I don't think it's that bad.

Um...nah, this is complete s**t! If 'not too bad' becomes acceptable, we deserve every insult people hurl at our city.

It is extremely utilitarian. One sees many of this type of building in development parks out in the burbs. Could have been a non descript building anywhere from 1975 to today.

What a surprise, you've found a project you don't like. You know where this building would look great? If they tore down that old church that is part of the Victoria Lofts project and erected this instead. That's what that neighbourhood needs! Please, I hope nobody accuses me of being facetious. That would just ruin my day.

Um, I hate this building. Why would I want that church replaced with this? I never said such a thing!

Where did I say that you said this? I'm clearly the one that said it. Your comprehension skills leave something to be desired. Or maybe your eyesight is going. Perhaps that old myth is true. Quick, zip up your pants.

^^ You implied that I said a building like this one should replace that church.

I did not.

You inferred that. Guilty conscience?

No, rather it's your perception. You stated I made an implication, but in reality it's your inference that got you confused.

You'll stop at nothing to make me look like an idiot. It is your perception that I have a guilty conscience from supposedly wanting something like this erected on the site of that Victoria Lofts project.

Trust me, you don't need my help; you're doing fine all on your own. :)

When it comes to this building?

Let me guess? A Canadian architect?

Design by Canadian committee WILL result in some of the worst architecture known by man.

Here's my ode to: :puke: Canadian Architects

The facade won't be around for too long as the next phase will have it grow westwards as well as upwards
